7 Days of Hope Blog Tour - My Post!

Hey, y'all!  I hope you've enjoyed this blog tour so far! These girls' posts are so beautiful and hopeful! I didn't realize how inspiring it would be to see so many people sharing what hope is to them!     Well - now it's my turn! Here goes!     Since I was little, my favorite Bible verse has been Isaiah 43:1.     (Feel free to download this image and the one below! You can use them as phone wallpapers - that's what I plan on doing with them!)     The wonderful, encouraging verse that comes right after this one, about God being with you through deep waters, seems to be quoted a lot more. But that wasn't the verse that I clung to for years. It was this one. Where God said that He had called me by name .    What hope could ever be greater than knowing that the God of the universe has called you by name?      When I think of hope and beauty and wonder...     O ne of my favorite classic heroines comes...

7 Days of Hope - Blog Tour

Character #1: Briannon

Hey, y'all!  So, I know it's later than I meant for it to be, but here's the first character interview! Today I'll be talking with Briannon, my main character (and my favorite character - yes, I play favorites). Here we go! Abby: Hi, Briannon! Welcome to my blog! How do you like it? Briannon: *laughs* It looks good, I suppose! I've never really seen any blogs. Abby: True...well, why don't you start off by introducing yourself? Briannon: Alright...here's what you wrote about me:      Seventeen-year-old Briannon should be living in Zayvia's castle with her family of nobility. Instead, she's been living with a peasant family since she was twelve. She's left ruling to her uncle and sister - that's the way it's always been, even if it's wrong. But som e things are impossible to ignore. When an opportunity to defend her land and revolt against her uncle's twisted ways arises, she dives in headfirst. And that's how she ends up being ...

Photo Dump!

Hey, y'all! I'm back!      So, I know I've been gone for almost two weeks, but that's because I was on vacation. And then I was recuperating from vacation. 😊 I'll include some pictures down below, but, in short...it was awesome. We went to the Southwest and visited four different states. And now I'm in love with Arizona...💙 💙     Also - exciting news! I finished the first read-through of my novel, and it shouldn't need too much work before I send it to my alpha readers! That'll be so nerve-racking and exciting at the same time. 😬 I'm hoping I can send it out by the end of the week! 😁     (Side note - I'm planning to start on those character interviews tomorrow, so let me know if you have any more questions for my characters!)     And, now, onto the photos! Nevada California The really neat thing about the Pacific Ocean is that these mountains (or big rocky hills, whatever you want to call them 😃 ) are just on the other side of the road ...
